t is for tuesday and trees

old autumn on my shelf...


I really do love drawing girls... .
Today I went for a pretty walk on the peninsula with my awesome Mum... Here are some sights we saw:





I love trees. A lot. There are too many things about them that I want to capture in my paint and pencil and stitches...
This afternoon. More will happen.

The photo of the window through the panes got my attention. The tree with the different colored bark reminds me of our sycamores, which in the winter and spring gleam white in the sun. They have big leaves, though, that suffer from some kind of blight and can curl up and turn brown in the summer. People complain because they always shed their leaves and and bark. But since I don't have any in my yard to clean up after, I love them.
